The Challenge

As one of India's leading owners operators of exhibition centres, India Expo Mart Ltd. had a requirment of constructing 4.5 lakh sq. ft. of permanent area with large expanses spread across 6 hall to host the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater NOIDA. The time left for building the space was very short as IEML had to get ready with the infrastructure in 7/8 months time. Also there was a need for controlling the heat load to reduce cooling cost for such a large space.

The Solution

Everest Pre-Engineered Buildings team addressed the challenge of time with intelligent use of Innovative Technology and skilled manpower. Over 200 workmen 8 boom lifts and 8 mobile cranes were pressed into action, facilitating construction at many fronts simultaneously. The team worked closely with our project management team and high standards of project management were maintained through continous monitoring of the project using project management system embedded in Everest Speed ERP.High tensile steel was used for project where all compontents were factoy made, ensuring least onsite work and strigent quality control measures. Team Everest also addressed the challenge of escalating cooling costs for such vast spaces with fully insulated buildinds.

Result

This arduous was achieved in record time of 180 days, achieving 50% savings in time. By using PUF panels on the roof and walls, they also managed to reduce the heat load by 20% and thus making it environment friendly as well as helping the client expenses. The building has successfully hosted Auto Expo 2016.
